EAB/Lemon Super League 2016: Round 4 Game Vote
EAB/Lemon Super League 2015: Round 4 Game Vote (Special Round - PD Games) Starts: 00:01 February 28 Finishes: 23:59 March 12 Rules Full rules are here. Vote for five games. Your first choice gets 5 points, second 4 pts, third 3 pts, fourth 2 pts, fifth 1 pt. This is the vote for the first special round of the season. When voting you can only choose games that are listed as either Public Domain, Freeware, Shareware, Coverdisk full games, Promotional, or even hidden games. Basically anything considered non-commercial. The two games with the most votes will be played. If you are in doubt about a game's status, ask in the thread before you vote, or contact a Moderator. It will be sorted out before the end of voting. Remember to choose games suitable for competition play. Edited votes will be discounted (unless told otherwise) so think before you post. Please only vote on one board - either EAB or Lemon. If a game comes in ECS and AGA versions, please state your preference in your vote. In the event the versions differ gameplay-wise, the version with most votes will be played. ECS is the default if you don't specify. The winner of Round 3 will have their vote doubled for Round 4 (i.e. 1st place = 10 pts, 2nd = 8 pts etc). Tactical or nosey voters can see the Lemon voting thread here. 1. Dr. Mario
2. Transplant 3. Omega Race 4. Galactic Xmas Edition 5. Death Angel - If any of the games are ilegal for this round please let me know. I voted for Omega Race even though I know it will never get any votes. The game is not even listed on HOL. There are 2 games named "Omega Race" for Amiga, both are ports from the arcade game of same name.. I am voting for this one: [ Show youtube player ] Which manages to be smoother, prettier, more playable and slickier than the arcade version. This game is insanely fun. Also voted for Death Angel, never heard about it, never saw it, but checked it at hol since Graham voted for it, it's a shoot'em up, so let's give it a chance |

I was voting for Transplant in a PD round some years ago and one of the moderators told me it's not suitable.

We did initially declare it unsuitable, but I think it was pointed out we could go by level reached? Harry will know

There is actually another game called POD. IIrc, it was the first game using the MMX enhancement of the Pentium processors.
http://www.gog.com/game/pod_gold 4.5 out of 5 stars is a little bit too much imho, but you can give it a try if you like futuristic arcade racers of that era. |

Transplant is fine, it was pointed out last year there are 200 levels so scoring by level reached should be sufficient.
By the way can we not go too far off topic please folks |

I have no idea about PD Games. Never really got into it.
If anyone wants or can use my voting points by all means go for it. If it's not possible then I might do a vote almost to the end to mix things up a bit. |

Not really in the spirit of the voting system :P but I know that you can list games on HOL by licenseware/PD/Freeware/Coverdisk games so have a browse through that and find some interesting prospects. Alternatively just look up the games that everyone else has been voting for and vote for the ones you think will be most fun, and not so much like Final Fight
