I second that. This is how games should be made - good graphics and music, with level design that allows you to progress each time you play - though there are a few places where they have been evil in each level (theres a dead end in 2-3 with some jewels in, but when you get near the top a boulder comes rolling down and the tunnel isn't high enough to jump over it so you end up running away Indiana Jones style )

I have found everything in 1-1 and 1-2, but missed a few items in 2-1 and 2-2. I was killed in 2-3. There are always some lives hidden away in each level, but they aren't always easy to get to.

Should we use highscore table only shots for this game as it shows start and end levels or are in-game screenshots ok? (I have a highscore screenshot if needed)

I think scoring jump kill combos gives a score boost.. so if a few of us manage to find every item in every stage - this could be the only way to improve the score

Are there any bonuses for completing stages under a certain time limit, or for keeping jumping and movement stats to a minimum? I'm having a break from this for a few days. If I play a game too much, I can still see it even with my eyes closed!

I don't think you get any bonus for those stats.. even though they are recorded.
Looks like it's all about the items

Forgotten something?

Here's my first effort. First time I've properly sat down to play a game for a few weeks or so (moved home so that's my excuse). This is a great little game but I definitely need more practise and the collision detection is a little off.

Finished it!
Missed some items and enemies in the later levels though.

Yeh the pacing can take some getting used to and the collision is unforgiving..
You can lose a lot of lives very quickly in this game

I see from your screengrab you died via an acid drop (as its still on screen). Wait for the acid to fully dry up before moving ahead.

These grasshoppers in 4-1 are really hardly to see.

Amazing scores from Team EAB.

Well done Harry - that puts you joint second in the championship (65 points) along with Capehorn and Ze Emulatron. Good to see things are close at the top.

I've always been a bit of a lame duck when it comes to platformers.

I made it to 3-1 with 9 lives but got a bit bored and started making mistakes. I had 18k last time so now I've almost doubled it, but it's still only worth 1 extra championship point. Not a bad game but just not quite enough there to make me want to see this through to the end.
