Small improvement on Saffron Walden -6
I could have done better than this. Maybe more luck next time. Total score = -12 |

Check it...
Las Vegas -17 Saffron Walden -15 Total: -32! I'm pretty pleased with this score and I hope that it means that I won't have to play this game any more to stay on top. One piece of advice I might give is it's much better to go for the conservative route than to risk hitting it into trees or water. Another is that the crosshair almost always needs a little adjustment, most golf games aim it straight at the hole, not this one. |

I tried it a couple of times, and hated it, never made it through a whole round. It was not in my collection of games.
Had to have about half a dozen practice rounds to reach this score. |

I struggle badly on the greens. Trying to judge how much of an effect the arrows have (indicating gradients) is a nightmare. I'm no golfer either. I think this is a cool game if you are playing for fun, but in a competition like this it's pure evil - you can be doing great one minute, but mistime your swing and you can hook it in the wrong direction

Lonewolf - Yes, my feelings exactly. For me I find it hard to consentrate if I do the swing but miss the ball. If I get a water drop-shot I can sometimes come back and do ok, but missing the ball 'Swoosh!' is just a pain in the butt. The greens? The greens often turn into a pinball game!: - boing, boing, boing, triple bogey!
Do ya wanna play golf? - NO!!! Do ya wanna plaay, golf? -ARG! Do ya wanna play go-olf? - ![]() Do ya wanna play? -

A week in and only four EAB players so far. Not a great turnout and interest on EAB generally seems to be lower than I can ever remember. Hopefully a few more people dust off their joysticks for this one in the next couple of weeks

Nothing special on LV. A hole-in-one on SW 11, Eagles on 14 and 17.

Fair enough, although I think you would usually expect to see a plus next to a positive golf score. That's my excuse at least.

It is a little confusing at first glance, but if you look at the others with negative scores it becomes clearer. I plan on trying to improve my score over the next few days. Wish me luck (I'll need it!).

Yes. In the normal rounds you may join at any time.
Only the Knockout rounds in december/january are restricted. BTW: You may also vote about your preferred games for the next round. (But read the opening post, the next vote is only about noncommercial games.)
