I would also add an Arcade Ports column with Rygar (actually in progress but coming out good)

Yeah maybe but...
...I don't really think it's a good idea to be adding in any ports that are still work in progress e.g: a) Enduro Racer b) Starquake Let's wait until they're completed |

Yup, that's true. Added
I guess I should also add all the "Bignonia" C64 conversions as well: http://hol.abime.net/hol_search.php?...developer=1155 |

I'll have an arcade port (though it's closest in spirit to the Playstation edition) to add to the list.. soon

I am an arcade junkie at heart, trying to think what this game you're porting could possibly be... From what you've said though a very rough guess would be Raiden / Raiden II / Raiden DX but that would be too much... I'd have a heart-attack |

Aaah no not that awesome sadly (I wouldn't mind seeing if the Atari STE Raiden that's in progress can be ported to AGA though). It's a LaserDisc port.

Out of curiosity, why are these Bignonia games considered to be C64 ports as opposed to arcade ones? (Did they reverse engineer the C64 versions etc?)

Nothing that advanced - it's a Dragon's Lair clone, but one that's never been ported to the Amiga before.
Edit: If anyone wants a copy of the "release candidate 1" edition, I'll PM them with the download links. Requirements are: - CD32, or - KS 2.0, 2MB Chipram (MAY work in 1mb if you have very little running in the background), 68020, 450mb hard drive space (OR 2x speed CD-ROM) Last edited by earok; 05 March 2017 at 01:21. |
