EAB/Lemon Super League 2016: Round 3 Game Vote
EAB/Lemon Super League 2016: Round 3 Game Vote - COIN-OP CONVERSIONS Starts: 00:01 February 7 Finishes: 23:59 February 20 Rules Full rules are here. Vote for five games. Your first choice gets 5 points, second 4 pts, third 3 pts, fourth 2 pts, fifth 1 pt. NEW - This is the first theme round of the season. You can only vote for games within the specified subject. In this round, we are playing coin-op conversions ONLY. Remember to choose games suitable for competition play. Edited votes will be discounted (unless told otherwise) so think before you post. Please only vote on one board - either EAB or Lemon. If a game comes in ECS and AGA versions, please state your preference in your vote. In the event the versions differ gameplay-wise, the version with most votes will be played. ECS is the default if you don't specify. The winners of Round 2 have double voting power for Round 3. (1 = 10 points, 2 = 8 points etc). However, because the voting for the next round ends before the current round ends, players must place their votes and wait for the current round to end to see who will have their vote doubled. If one person wins both games in Round 2 their vote is trebled. Tactical or nosey voters can see the Lemon voting thread here. I'm very happy somebody else likes this game apart from me. I used to complete the C64 and Amiga versions all the time, and is one of the best 007-type games on the Amiga, so much better than Thunder Jaws, although the levels are quite short.

It reminds me of Rolling Thunder a little but 50 times better. And it has that arcade feel. It's definitely a good game.

I'm assuming (as stated on Lemon) that anything listed on HOL as Hardware: Arcade is ok:
1. Rainbow Islands 2. Ikari Warriors 3. Plotting 4. Smash TV 5. Final Fight |

Voting is over and at this stage, it's quite incredibly close.
1. Final Fight - 24 2. Rainbow Islands - 24 3. R-Type - 24 4. Star Wars - 19 5. Saint Dragon - 18 Total votes: 17 - Total games voted for: 36 Final Fight leads with four first place votes to Rainbow Islands' three. Rainbow Islands pips R-Type to second place due to scoring one second place vote as they were also tied on first place votes. But with the potential of two different players having votes doubled at the end of the round, this can go several ways yet. Although with Acid not submitting a valid vote and Harry's choices not affecting the top end of the standings, if things stay the same Final Fight will win. But there's still a week of Round 2 left... |

Punch people on face, make points.
My worry about it is that I couldn't make it load on my A600.. WHDLoad the game crashes, ADFs on Gotek just fail to load after cracktro (Tried 3 different cracks, all happen the same thing... wonder if it a KS2.0 problem) |

I did it with Prince of Persia. I was tired of Slam Tilt and wanted something new to play.. also I don't like dealing with emulators, so I wanted to play something on my ECS machine
I was just testing Final Fight, because I remembered trying to load it on WHDLoad and have no success. It seems now it's just a matter of time before the slave is updated with the correction to make it work *I DON'T NEED PRACTICE ON FINAL FIGHT, I'LL CRUISE IT VERY EASILY*. |
