EAB/Lemon Super League 2013: Round 5 Game Vote
EAB/Lemon Super League 2013: Round 5 Game Vote Starts: 00:01 March 24 Finishes: 23:59 April 6 Rules Full rules are here. Vote for five games. Your first choice gets 5 points, second 4 pts, third 3 pts, fourth 2 pts, fifth 1 pt. Remember to choose games suitable for competition play. Edited votes will be discounted (unless told otherwise) so think before you post. Please only vote on one board - either EAB or Lemon. If a game comes in ECS and AGA versions, please state your preference in your vote. In the event the versions differ gameplay-wise, the version with most votes will be played. ECS is the default if you don't specify. The winners of Round 4 have double voting power for Round 5. (1 = 10 points, 2 = 8 points etc). However, because the voting for the next round ends before the current round ends, players must place their votes and wait for the current round to end to see who will have their vote doubled. If one person wins both games in Round 4 their vote is trebled. Tactical or nosey voters can see the Lemon voting thread here. Just a reminder that voting closes tomorrow night - we are several votes down on the other normal rounds for this season so far but it is one of the most open votes we have had. Combine that with double voting power for two lucky players at the end of this round and the outcome really is anyone's guess...

I know voting is sometimes low because people forget, but just 5 votes by team EAB is low indeed

1. Speedball II (How exactly are we playing this? One league season in the first division?)
2. Datastorm 3. Revenge of the Mutant Camels 4. Continental Circus 5. James Pond We'll need to work out the rules if we do play Speedball II. If we do only play one season, it's a bit easy to beat all the teams because they aren't challenging - the purpose of the first season is just to get promoted. The challenge is in the second season, playing teams like Super Nashwan. Could I suggest we play two seasons - if you fail to get promoted in the first season then the game ends there, you can post your screenshot of the final table but you will be placed below anyone who gets promoted. If you do get promoted, then you play season two in the top league and your score is your final wins/draws/points difference in the top league. I know that means the game will be quite long, but I just don't think playing in the lower league will be at all challenging. |

If my memory serves correctly, it's 90 seconds a half, so 3 minutes a game, 14 games a season. So 42 minutes of gametime, but then you have deal with the training and trading sections inbetween each game. So probably an hour per season.
The youtube longplay lasts 2 hours and 20 minutes - he plays both seasons. |

We are having a discussion on the Lemon thread to decide how we would play Speedball II. It could be either a league season or a cup campaign. Feel free to contribute either here or on the Lemon thread.
