EAB/Lemon Super League 2012: Round 7 Game Vote
Starts: 00:01 May 6 Finishes: 23:59 May 19

Rules

Full rules are here.

Vote for five games.

Your first choice gets 5 points, second 4 pts, third 3 pts, fourth 2 pts, fifth 1 pt.

Remember to choose games suitable for competition play. Edited votes will be discounted (unless told otherwise) so think before you post. Please only vote on one board - either EAB or Lemon.

If a game comes in ECS and AGA versions, please state your preference in your vote. In the event the versions differ gameplay-wise, the version with most votes will be played. ECS is the default if you don't specify.

The winner of Round 6 will have their vote doubled for Round 7 (i.e. 1st place = 10 pts, 2nd = 8 pts etc).

2. Bubble Bobble - 21
3. Silkworm - 17
4. Gem'X - 10
5. Rick Dangerous 2 - 9

Total votes: 14 - Total games voted for: 42

Stunt Car is in first place by having more first place votes than Bubble Bobble but it's still exceptionally close.

I understand there are rules that can't be changed during the competition and that this is a subjective point that others may disagree with, but if more people have voted for Bubble Bobble (even in the lower positions), then wouldn't it be more democratic (and of more interest to the players of the comp) to play the game that more people voted for?

FWIW I have no preference between those two games. It's just a thought, I have no problem with the way you have ranked them but it does occur to me that it might be slightly fairer and fun to do it the other way.

To be honest Cape, the outcome all depends on who wins this round and gets the double vote. At the moment its our Seth who is in the lead, so if he wins it will bump BB up to 25 points. If it wasn't for the double vote rule I would certainly agree with you. Hope BB gets thru as it's yet another random game; although I'm not especially good at it.

Seth wins the round (and with some style too) which means his double vote affects the outcome like this:
