By far, my best memory of my poor old Amiga was making songs using OctaMED

I know there is now a version of MED available for Windoze, but its very much a resource hog, as well as being quite unstable...

Does anyone know if there is anything else like this available for Windoze? I can't install an Amiga emulator as my machine is a works computer

Where would be a good place to get samples? Guitars, Drums, etc..

I decided to try BuzzMachines first, and at first I'm glad I did because it has a really friendly interface and its pretty quick to pick up...

However, after creating my first little 'song', saving then closing the application, BuzzMachines now fails to load on Windows 2000

I deinstalled, then reinstalled, but it still refuses to run

Try FastTrackerII for pc, its as close to Protracker as you can get really.... supports upto 64 channels too i think.

No need to mess with old DOS shit like FastTracker, you should try ReNoise (this one's not free) or MadTracker.

You could also wait for Protracker 2 which should be released sometime soon (I hope)
