OctaMED

Greetings,

I have been using OctaMED for about 10 years now. Originally only for MODs while the last couple of years I have been running MIDI with it into an external sound module. Is there anyone out there using or that has used OctaMED in a similar situation? I have a few wuestions about MIDI commands that don't work like I expect them to.

Thanks

HEllo! i can not help u with the midi Q part!! But i can inform you that there are more people out here that uses i production environment. Mhonolink and Henrik.B are two swedish Dj´s that uses it when delivering funky techno beats...i myself have been using it for alot of beats during the years but mostly with the original 8-bit chip!!

Heya! I'm using MED 3.00 (A500+) to control my midi-setup. It works great for building rithms, acid-sequences, complex basslines, etc. All I use is a standard command to change CC (control-changes) for e.g. the filters / resonance of a synth. Oh yes, ofcourse the Pitch-command, but that's it considering the effects... I'm not actually building a whole track in it, but the Amiga is sure helping in the things I mentioned above! Results can be heard here: http://members.home.nl/cyrex byebye And good luck composing with MIDIMED! :-))

Sorry, I know this is reigniting old threads, but I missed out first time around with Octamed, I had an Amiga in 92 but I was into Bubble Bobble and Lemmings back then lol. Now learning Octamed after realising the potential, have you got any tunes online?
