You'll have to write them back to floppy disk first, try using a tool like ADF-Blitzer.

it depends if they are extended or normal ADF. normal can be copied easily, while extended ones are protected, and you won't be able to do so....

So I take it most adf files are used in emulators and not real amigas?

Normal ADF files (which are 901,120 bytes) can be written back to disk. Only extended ADFs which are larger can't be written back. I'm quite sure you only have the 'normal' kind

is there no program you can run on the Amiga to let it mount the adf file as a virtual floppy? i guess the best way is to use whdload but I still have to write them to floppy first though dont i?
Thanks |

If you want to use WHDLoad just grab the preinstalled versions here : http://www.whdownload.com/
Much less trouble to go through then (ADFs usually don't work for WHDLoad installs anyway) |

the problem is that extended ADF are mostly NDOS disks. some CAN be written back however, but you need to create an MFMwarp (*.mfm) or WWARP (*.wwp) file, put it
on your amiga 1200 hard drive then try to write back. |
