JetHunt AGA - Coming 2015, no really this time... (with demo)

Link to 2014 thread: JetHunt AGA - coming soon 2014 (sorry!)

It's happened again, not enough free time but I'm certain it'll be out in 2015. So much so that I've finally released a short 5-level demo.

limitations of the demo

Deadly walls dont kill you (level 5)
basic titlepage with no options
no sfx as I'm using a piece of music from the PC version
only the first 5 levels in the demo which then loop back to level 1

[edit] and nothing happens when your power runs out yet!

Fire starts and ESC quits

Hopefully this works.

ADF version
DMS version

I'm sure there's still plenty of tweaking to be done. And some of the later levels need finishing. But it's getting there!

137,725 after looping several times.
Look forward to more stages - this is going to be ace.

Nice parallax bkg - AGA dual playfield?
The restarting sequence after you get hit seems really well done.

Yep, AGA dual playfield, many thanks for your help with that one, fetchmodes and sprites etc!

The restarting took ages to get working, he kept reappearing in a wall

Wow, that's great I'm going to add the demo to the CD32 community collection as a "personal pick". I'm sure I've mentioned this before but I'd love to do an "official CD32" release of it when it's finished - the only thing I'd really like added is some CD32 specific controls, eg

Blue: Alternative bomb
Forward: Alternative thrust
Play: Pause
Reverse: Quit

thanks earok, I take a look in my manual and see if I can add a CD32 control option.

It's not my video, I can not record anything because my computer is overheating. I can't buy new as I'm working as volunteer for 6 years now.

It's great to see someone (other than me) play through it. I will finish it that's for sure. Eventually!

Bahhh!!

I wish people would stop releasing all these new games! I was going to work on my own game this week (as I'm not at work), but all I've done so far is play new games (May & Yam 1, May & Yam 2, Love Dungeon) and I still have Maxwell Mouse & The Missing Game Mystery to play too.

I'll never get my own game finished at this rate!

I'm downloading the game now and will probably play it tomorrow, or Saturday.

I think it's awesome that there are so many new games being worked on. I'm not stopping any time soon. There will be more!

Well, I've been tinkering with it for a few years now and there are still a couple of inconsequential bugs/errors...

But it's been long enough. I'm currently playing the full version on my phone on UAE4ARM. So hopefully it really is very soon now.
