Rampage - Another quality "ross" hack

Heya guys,

There's one thing that annoyed me with Rampage when using via an emulator (without any joysticks / joypads attached)... so I sent ross the following PM yesterday:

Ok, so you can bring up the GUI, change "Port 2 = None", make all required changes to player 1 / 2 / 3 but then in-game you'll need to change Port settings again

What I'd like is the following changed in the code for the game so that it's default:

I would have tried to use a Hex Editor myself to see if I can work it out but all files on disk are hidden

Do you think you could assist?

Ok I had a playtest of this small hack..

It works. Very messy though for 1 player default play.

Can you please adjust player configuration to

1. Inactive
2. Joy 2
3. Inactive

This will allow smooth play for 1 player mode which is most common.

Actually, yes that's a good point and probably a better idea.

I guess I didn't think this through completely when originally asking ross to do the hack
