Any news on MAGE?
I've seen latest news are 1 year old (if my search was correct)...
Is the project active? I'm curious: which db will you use? OpenOffice Base? do you plan to replicate/improve gamebase functions (adding multiplatform) or are there completely new stuff? Ciao Luca |

I've decided to refrain from making any more estimates about when it's coming until I actually have something presentable (which is why I concentrated on this very presentable GameBase Amiga release and WHDRun before continuing). But yes, it is still coming. Eventually. |

no i have expressed myself poorly... i have Gamebase installed, with the gamebase ST, GBC v05, NES and SNES. i will not install amiga now though, as i cannot bring myself to do it, too complicated. move this here, that there... SPS, whdload stuff... make a clrmame rebuild of the whole collection to see if i miss something.
i did installed it once already some versions ago and after some months it gone broken, not to be fixed ever. an hassle that i will keep for when MAGE will be out, if ever, along - maybe - a newer version of the database. why to go through the updates? do not think that i don't appreciate the great work you do with the database, just i'll keep it for future (hopefully a bit cleaner) installation |

If your familiar with edonkey/eMule - then Doc Pharside has links for Gamebase Amiga 1.5 - [Edit by eLowar] Link removed. Sorry, but there are too many files on there that violate EAB rules. It's also not related to marco's issue, which was a GameBase crash. [/Edit]

I'll also nudge because I love GBAmiga as much as GB64.
Does Belgarath have any intention of returning to the project or has it been abandoned? |

I think it's safe to assume this project is dead now, shame though GBA was awesome

I think there are a couple of members over at the GB64 forums who started to update the GBA but stalled.
Surprising really when you look at the regular updates to GB64. The Amiga scene then and now was, is just as big as the C64. Saying that the GB64 has a team I think who work on it, so maybe if a team work on the GBA and people take a letter each and update or something. Must be a lot of work for one person. Here's the thread they got as far as updating A&B, http://www.gb64.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4876 I don't mind joining in to help if someone wants to try and arrange something.
