I'm not being mean personally to the guy, i hope, well as he mentioned his marriage is back on track which is great, but if you run a business and want continuted support from devs you either take it or don't, so the choice was his anyway, he took the chance to publish knowing his own situation, which was a surprise to me tbh after reading that earlier this year, esp after he hasn't published any Amiga games yet, so im not being horrible in anyway, if that comes across then sorry.
I just want devs to get their works out, not sitting in limbo waiting, as there are other options thats ok, i wish the guy luck but if he has doubts then he needs to talk to Lazycow. |

Seriously AmigaJay he runs a very small company and he was having some life problems,if you were saying this about a large company most of us would say nothing but that's not the case here. His marriage, kids, life is more important than anything else and it should be.

I have to say that I'm with Amigajay on this one; hence why I bumped the thread.
I mean, everyone goes through shite / massive, life changing stuff at times that is very difficult to deal with, see my post #263 in this thread. I feel for him, really I do. Thankfully though, it sounds like his marriage etc. is back on track and I'm very happy to hear that ...but also, at the end of the day; business is business. If you cannot fulfil something for whatever reason then, that's cool, just keep your game developers / clients aware of details and provide a rough ETA if possible. Once that's been done then it's up to the game developers / clients to either: a) say that's ok and be willing to wait x amount of time. b) decide to look for other alternatives. Again, I don't think this is being harsh, this is business, and both sides need to communicate. |

RGCD status update on Powerglove: tweet
"Some" delay in the process of releasing a game is "normal" at RGCD, I remember that Powerglove for C64 went into produciton after 8 month. As Konfucius said: Patience is the most essential ingredient on the road to success. |

It's a lot of cr*p games "coded" in Backbone released these days without any delays but Powerglove, which looks professional, is soooo delayed. People slowly forget about this game...

I can understand that preparing boxed versions takes time (printing inlays, manuals etc.) but the digital version (ISO/ADF file and PDF with manual) could be released without any delay.

@Lazycow; this is getting really, really, really silly now...
Your game has been finished, ready for purchase / distribution since the 14th of May, 2017, yet here we are over a year later and are all still waiting to be able to grab a copy / play... We all read / understand James's situation over at RGCD back in March 2017 and are sympathetic but... ...you really need to change distributors ASAP |
