For me, already this is a Christmas present for me! As it appeared to me the most confusing (and "misused") option for newbies, ever since. Thanks a lot! Quote:
However, this "sound runs amok and auto-plays unattendedly" issue sounds similar to the old (and annoying) Mission Elevator problem. The sound had repeated forever, but also the samples played at insane samplerate ("mickey mouse" pitch tone) |

Sorry for the off-topic and thanks. I never tried before to configure the keyboard with input panel.

Start OS 3.9 in PAL:HighRes, run Prefs/Screenmode, select PAL:HighRes Interlaced and click on Test. If it doesn't happen at once, close the test screen and click on Test again. |

I don't see the joke, either. Perhaps it would have been funny if you had at least calculated correctly. Actually you are kicking out 15 shades (0 - E) per gun. So you are losing 3,375 out of 16,777,216 possible color combinations. Doesn't have anything to do with AGA or the 256 palette entries.

@thomas:
your calculation is correct, but you lose some aga colors, thats the fact. ham8 or some greyscaling pictures could be affected. or magicwb aga copper backgrounds btw. i used smilies ( ), i thought they are "international" for humor ... i am sorry, if someone misunderstood my comment |

I may have found an issue (hopefully not just me ) . for some reason with thelatest beta, the filter settings dont seem to save properly and blacker then black tickbox might be wrong way round.
when black is enabled I get the usual grey type black, and dissabled, black is black . Filter setting is forcing itself to null filter. I set to none, save , reload all is ok. If I restart machine and load settings then null filter is enabled again . Autoscale seems to force it self on too even when saved as dissabled. |
