Amiga games (WIP / Released) index
Given the steady influx of new Amiga games that's coming these days, and the huge pain in the ass that is browsing/searching this board with a real Amiga (waiting for scripts to time out, you know), wouldn't it be convenient to have a thread that catches 'em all so that one can be sure she/he hasn't missed any of them (and I'm pretty sure I missed many of the them!)?

I hadn't heard of Sqrxz (what a title!) until now so thanks for that. Breaks from EAB due to "real life" for long periods leads to missed threads for me. In fact I'm still playing catch-up now so can't think of any other titles you may had missed. No offence intended but would the thread title benefit from something like: Amiga games (WIP / Released) index ? Just a imo. ;) @Moderators: Maybe this thread is worth being a Sticky? |

Working since the beginning of this year on: "Solid Gold".
A smooth 50fps 8-way scrolling jump'n'run over four worlds with 2 or 3 giant sub-levels in each. Completely different graphics in each world. Control is a bit like Sqrxz, but not that difficult. Code is by myself. Graphics, Music and level design by my brother. Requirements: OCS-Amiga (A500), 1MB (512k Chip RAM). Expected release date: second half of this year. An early screen shot of world 2. The dark blue region at the top shows the complete calculation and rendering time for a single frame. So I can still add a lot of action at 50fps... :) Attachment 35183 |

Solid Gold looks interesting! Also that looks a neat trick to determine the time spent processing - I'll make a note of that next when i start on my next Amiga project.

I'm working on Descent 1 & 2 for AGA, these are enhanced versions based on the Descent Rebirth project.
Rebirth AGA Hopefully they will be a 2013 releases. |

I like the idea to have this thread as a reference and the other one more of a discussion one actually. Of course it's an idea to have everything about new games in one thread, but either way the first post here needs an update ;)
