Slow down scummvm aga 040

I am having a problem with scummvm on my amiga 4000/040.
When I run for example monkey island 1, the sound is very jerky and the game undergoes slowdowns.
On Scummvm aga 030, the game works perfectly but I have no sound. Do you have a solution ?

Not really a valid solution; though it may solve the immediate problem...

The real questions are:

• Have you installed AHI and CAMD?
• Are you using MIDI in any of these games?
• What settings have you selected in ScummVM?

Hi,

For all of my ports, it is critical that you install the correct version of AHI and set it up properly.

Also make sure your ROM is in FASTRAM and that you are using PFS3 as ScummVM makes a lot of OS calls and HD calls.

As Damien mentions above, using CAMD native MIDI will reduce the strain of trying to emulate music on an 040 (or 030 for that matter).
