CD32 to A1200

i'd like to know if there is a way to run CD32 or CDTV games from Workbench like a normal Amiga CD games. Meanwhile i try to make some experiments

yes ,most of them will work
some of them will fail ie Microcosm CD32 never worked
CD music in some games will not work or you must assign "CD0" to the directory of the hardisk you are running the game

because i tried "Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo" and ok is work, but don't play audio tracks.
CDDA however works with IDEFIx player

if you have idefix installed there is a CD32 emulator
run the cd from there, cd music will work

Microcosm CD32 works on A1200, even using a standard ISO file.

of course. but i'd like to play without emulate CD32. or if exist some system to convert CD32 games in Amiga CD games.

yes, but you hate to copy CD in HD. i'd like to run directly from CD.
Maybe it is impossibile because if this game is written tu run on cd32.

You can use a simple script to play original CD game on A1200, without the use of an emulator:

Anyway a special CDFS version is required for this game.

unfortunately i cannot try these solution because i launch the game from gamebase front-end and script are made to have directly a cdrom mounted on workbench without to have cd0 in dosdrivers.
the only solution i think to emulate CD32 with SXpro. i have to see how to build this configuration with those scripts
