Os 3.1.4 rtg

Has anyone tested an OS 3.1.4 RTG system? I've noticed some problems with some Text Editor and text viewers, basically letters and artifacts disappear on the GUI.

Yes, I did go through a significant number of hours there.

Never did something like you describe occur on my system.

Could you provide some more information about the software you use and the system?

Try to edit the startup-sequence with Redit, you'll see that there will be no characters, or with ED try to delete a line and you'll see that the last letters will be dragged, which graphics card and which drives do you use on your system?

I did use Redit as it is part of BestWB and before BetterWB.

I used a Phoenixboard with a Derringer 30/50&32MB plus a Kryoflux GFX card.

I don't use real hardware but WinUAE, the mentioned problem occurs with OS 3.1.4 with both the UAE Zorro III and Picasso IV Graphics Cards.

On systems 3.1 and 3.9 RTG with the same Picasso96 drivers this problem does not exist, i enclose video that shows the problem mentioned:

Of what in particular, from the video you can easily take any frame and save it as an image, in any case from an image can not be shown well the problem.

Yes, on a daily basis. No issues. I suppose there is an installation problem on your side.

It is not a problem to install Picasso96, installed hundreds of times, even if you uninstall them Picasso96 and use a PAL configuration the problem remains.
Installed a new basic system 3.1.4 RTG everything works well, now I have to find out which application added creates this problem.

Found the cause, seems to be due to the font chosen for the system, eliminated Font.prefs the problem disappears, I'll be more accurate later.

Ok, found the culprit, to create those maufacts and graphic problems was the system Font that I had set "XCourier", replaced with normal "Courier" all problems seem solved.
