AMIGA 1200 Squirrel SCSI CD-ROM Configuration Help
Hi,
I'm looking for some help. I have an AmiTek External SCSI CR-ROM drive (CDR-1910A) , have plugged in the hardware and switched on the device. I've then installed the software and it has run the configuration, which I select the CD and then click Save. Once I reboot and install a CD the machine resets. I believe I installed and configured everything correctly. It would appear to be the same unit that is also branded by Power Computing, I've opened it up and found the cables for the fan and audio connections not connected to the drive, so any able to which bins these need connected too. What are the jumper settings, so I can ensure they are correct? Notice that the SCSI ID Switch is disconnected from the drive, what are the pin connection for it? The jumpers in a SCSI cd rom are for number assignment.
If you have multiple devices connected they all have to have a different number assignment. If 2 devices are on the same configuration they will conflict |
