Mobile notifications
Is it possible for EAB to make notifications for mobile (and PC I guess). Other Web pages can do it and ask.. This would be a good feature for me as a moderator as constant emails is a bit boring and tapatalk is a lot rubbish.

I'm not sure on how complex it is, I just know I have been on websites on my phone (android) and i've been asked if the website can send me push notifications. I cannot think of any off hand, but next time I come across one I'll send the link.
I did find this https://vwo.com/blog/before-starting...notifications/ |

Got a feeling push notifications are only available with vB5 onwards, however, that doesn't mean there's not already some kind of mod/hack that provides this function.
I've had a quick look and it doesn't look like there is anything like this, not even for vB4 I'm afraid |

This is part of the Web Notifications API.
It's really easy to implement (eg. https://github.com/alexgibson/notify.js - Demo) and is available on current gen Gecko (Firefox), Blink (Chrome) and Webkit (Safari) browsers. Compatibility info at https://caniuse.com/#search=notifications. No idea about VBulletin integration. |

It's a good tech indeed, it's a shame it's not supported by iOS Safari

Of course. I'm just having some fun
I am sure support for safari will come sooner or later. Are you looking at supporting this or a similar system? |

Yes, I was looking for this kind of stuff, but for me Apple notification system is internal (I have to send notif to apple server, and they push it to iPhone), so it's more complicated to setup (and is cost money)
