A600 keyboard adapter

Can I use an a1200 PS/2 keyboard adapter with an a600. 600's is dead and it's impossible to find a replacement (unless someone on eab is willing to part one)

Shouldnt see why not. The A600 and A1200 are relatively similiar...

Ive seen a tower hack with an A600 where they used an A1200 converter.

...But the keyboard is not exactly the same, if only for the A600's lack of numeric keypad.

People on other forums said it will work but I wonder what'll happen to the numeric keys. Maybe a600 hardware CAN detect numeric keys. I have an adapter but I must remove my PPC setup to try it. I won't

Yup, perhaps it DOES accept the numeric keypad.
Have you tried connecting an A1200 keyb to an A600?

I didn't, and I don't have the adapter now. Original 1200 keyboard doesn't fit in 600 though.
