shapeshifter .sit files problem
Hi I have problem with .sit in my emulate MacOS 751 , 761
exactly I need virtual cd/dvd utility from this link http://macintoshgarden.org/apps/virt...-romcd-utility I downloaded all files , then mounted mac: partition under Workbench , copied .sit files to mac hdf partition , but under MacOS can't decompress this files icon looks like txt , where is problem ? |

ok , I used filetyper utility under MacOs and assigned .sit-txt files to the stuffit and change status to correct .sit , but stuffit still can't decompress this file

I can't really help if you set this up yourself. I had the exact same issue but I'm running the prebuilt Mac emulation in ApolloOS r43 and that comes with StuffIt built in (something I didn't know until someone pointed it out to me). If by chance this is how you are running it, the StuffIt expander is in the Games drive under applications.

You need to install StuffIt Expander to unpack the .sit archives.
There were different versions of the StuffIt file format, and you need to use a version of StuffIt Expander which is the same or newer than whichever StuffIt version was used to create the archive. I just tried downloading one of the archives at the page you gave, copied it over to the Mac side and could use StuffIt Expander 5.5 to unpack it. StuffIt Expander 4.0.1 didn't seem to work.
