Smooth Scroll Text KS1.3
Hello all,
This might not be a WinUAE related issue (usually it turns out the program is emulating accurately) but I do not have an A500 around to check this. When I emulate Amiga Power Coverdisk Amiga Power #40 (1994)(Future Publishing)(GB)(Disk 2 of 2)[Aug 1994], the menu scroll text is jerky when I move the mouse. It works perfectly using KS3.0. Can someone please check if this is the case with original hardware? It seems crappy and I am surprised that the menu could not handle smooth scroll text and mouse movement. Thanks |

To be clear this occurs with Quickstart A500 rather than KS1.3. Increasing CPU speed seems to resolve it, but I am wondering if this should be the case...

i only can use emulators and my eyes are not the best to make a good judgement,
but the flicker is visible. someone with real hardware should make a test and report back. there is still a chance of bad code of the scroller routine. |
