Vampire V2 and HxC floppy emulator

Hi!

I have a vampire 600 v2 and a 500 v2 and the behavior is the same with both computers.

When powering up the computer with HxC floppy emulator attached (Lotharek) Workbench boots and displays the message : "Please insert volume DF0 in any drive" ?! I don't know why this is happening ???

If I reset the computer, Workbench boots again and no more message is displayed...

Did you already experience the same behaviour?

Maybe the HxC needs some time to boot/initialize?

I think you are right, it takes a little bit to start up.
Is it possible to add a delay to your Vampire ROM boot-up? That should do the trick.

I have only experience with the A500 vampire and it is IMHO rather slow to start booting from any media, both on cold start and after keyboard reset. For example, an A1200 with hard drive (to get rid of the IDE delay) is more or less instant in comparison and should without doubt trigger the same behaviour.

Maybe you can request for this feature to be added. It only seems right to do so.
