Contents of custom kickstart
Hi. I'm looking for program that can print info about libraries, modules, drivers in kickstart custom image. It would be nice if it will be shell tool. Do you know something like this?

AmiKick on aminet - windows tool, with gui, lists modules of kickstarts and can extract them.
i have no custom rom, maybe it is limited to standard rom files, just give it a try. comes with source in c, so maybe someone can use it to make a cli tool |

Remus just crashes here (guru #8000020) and Amikick in windows won't recognize my 3.9 ROM. Any other possibilities?

no luck with v1.04 and my 1mb custom rom.
i'm prety sure, i build an invalid 1mb rom, so i have to start from scratch once. anyone tested the amitools? i could build them on cygwin, the included romtool program gives lists of kickstart modules. tested with a standard 512kb rom. romtool is a python script, so I cannot build a generic win32 binary and share it :/ @dirkies: did you tested remus r36 or v1.51 already? |

AmiKick v1.04 was good enough to open the Amithlon "shaperom" file, but not a working custom OS 3.9 ROM I made (that works under WinUAE).
I just started playing with Remus and RomSplit (which would not open the Amithlon "shaperom" file), building a 3.9 ROM for my A4000T. I believe most of these tools use knowledge of the "stock" Amiga Roms to know how to decipher them, and why it won't show the modules of custom roms. |

ROMSniff from the Remus package identifies the contents of custom ROMs but it doesn't allow extracting them.

If Remus crashes you didn't follow the readme. It has dependences which all must be installed first

Hi, I'm author of AmiKick. If anyone has a valid Kickstart image that can't be opened by AmiKick - send me it to e-mail. I will try to remove all problems and improve my program. Thanks.

Thats me again I'm looking for Kickstart 3.x (45.62), specially A600 and A4000T versions. I only want to add support for this Kickstart in new version of AmiKick. I will be grateful for any help.
