LD Player
I will ask about the possibility to play Laser-disc games on WinUAE?
1.) Via emulated RS232 interface for the original hardware (LD Player). or 2.) Playing directly by emulated LD Player |

Were there any Laser Disc games using an Amiga as the controller other than Maddog McCree?

AFAIK only Dragons Lair was supported and could be played with an A500 and a special interface. There was a Company in Germany(Mannheim) who has distributed the Interface and software.

I suppose theoretically you could hook up an LD player to a PC by means of a serial cable and a video capture card, but I don't see why you would go to the trouble.

I don't see anything that makes this interesting enough, there really is nothing to emulate..
"Emulating" playing videos is extremely boring. CD32 FMV was already boring enough but at least it was much more Amiga specific. |

It was just a question, nothing else.
And yes, I use Daphne/Daphne SINGE and openMSX to run LD games on my Notebook. |
