Amiga 500 Rev6A from NTSC to PAL

Hello,
i got a NTSC Amiga 500 Rev.6A here in Europe.

What do i need to change to make it PAL? Apart from the 110V PSU, the crystal/oscillator, AGNUS? Anything else?

Does it worth the change?

The Agnus is burnt, i have replaced with a PAL Agnus and it's image it's OK. Shall i get a NTCS Agnus chip?

Thanks,
Chapas

Depends if you want to make it work with an NTSC TV or just run at 60hz.

If it is the latter then just one solder / jumper JP4. If you connect via A520 to a TV you'll get black and white picture.

If is is the former you have to do quite a bit of work, change crystals etc.

The main crystal + the jumper JP4 should be enough for a Rev6 A500.

Checked the service manual for JP4, thanks for your help.

By the way (please don't answer: "use a AT/ATX PSU"), any idea how to convert the PSU from 110V to 220V?

I don't think it's possible. You would need to change the coils.
It would be easier to buy an Amiga's 220V (european) PSU from eBay...

You will need a step-down transformer or variac to make use of that 110V PSU.

yes that would work too.

What I mean is inside modifications, like transformer replacement.
