connect 2 amigas

I want to connect my amiga 500 directly to my amiga 1200,using the parallel port (if possible).
I can't use a standard parallel cable i supose, so i'd like to make one myself.
Has anyone the pinouts to do so? Can't find anything on the net about this.

IIRC you can use a "laplink"-cable with ParNet.

What is the purpose for the connection? To transfer files or to play multiplayer games like Stunt Car Racer?

if you want to run nullmodem games you'll need a nullmodem (serial cable).

Just use ParNET, info about it is everywhere. I still have a cable made in early 1990s and it worked great.

Laplink "null printer" cables work with PC2Am, but ParNet requires its own cable.
