Keep selected ADF files on Quickstart page
Whenever WinUAE is run, the drives revert to df0.adf and df1.adf. I'd prefer to keep the ADF files which were selected last time Quickstart was used.

It comes from default.uae (or df0.adf etc if no default.uae). Some kind of ancient feature.
Remembering old files would be normally good idea but there is one annoying side-effect: if it points to sleeping HD (or network drive/NAS), it will take as long as it takes for HD to spinup before GUI is operational and there is no way to detect this situation in advance. (This can be extremely annoying) Quickstart is designed to scan the file/archive before it is accepted, not sure if it is worth the trouble to make "startup" selection work differently. |
