Any preference?

Favourite: Locomotion (Kingsoft) http://hol.abime.net/905 Someone made nice flash game with graphics from Guldkorn Expressen http://hol.abime.net/4837 and from other Amiga games. I never tried Mad Locs http://hol.abime.net/4656 - gameplay may be similar or even same to Locomotion. I wasted some time with Thomas The Tank Engine's Pinball http://hol.abime.net/1381 but something is missing.

Railroad Tycoon is a really good game. I never played it personally more than for a few minutes, but given the review scores A-Train seems to be another worthy candidate.

I always loved the scenes with the train in "North and South", although it´s not really a game about trains. There is a lot of military tactical games in which trains play and important role like "History Line".

Yes, just insert them as images in your posts to save linking to the pages containing them. (Of course, this only works when the sites hosting them support hotlinking.)

I did, but my coverdisk didn't work and I couldn't be bothered to send off for a replacement. I've just played it in WinUAE and wasted half hour.

If you like a laugh, there's always Goofy's Railway Express.

At the London Transport Museum they had a London underground simulator where you sat in the drivers carriage and held down a dead man's switch to go forward -I belive this was a CD32.
It might just be my memory but the graphics were quite good
