Best multi player game

I am sure this has been done before ....but i cannot find the thread

I would like to bring to everyones attention the best 2 player game of all time:

"swag" on the electon/bbc

it is a budget game that features hill billys with shotguns and mad alien things .... you can also shoot cop cars....what more do you want????

Best game I played in 2 player was Double dragon 2. Probably because I rarely had anyone to play multiplayer games with.

the Acorn Electron or the BBC Model B.......trust me it is quality!!!!!

I use BeebEM to play it now.

Can anyone knows multiplayer game on A500, that allows to play simultanously more than 2 players?? I had a lot of fun with Supercars2 (or maby 3?)... Player driving with mouse was always loosing to joystick and keyboard

Beach Volley is great fun in 2-player mode.
Pang is another Ocean 2-player game.
IK+, Battle Squadron, Alien Breed, and we can't forget the US classic, Footman!

Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge, that was fun with two players. Was crazy cars III also two player?

Nope, Lamborghini American Challenge was. It's the same game with the 2 player option added

Yes, I remember now, I think there was an amiga magazine that called that Crazy Cars IV, because it was the same stuff.

Chaos Engine
Alien Breed

Im sure I could make a whole page with this list but those are the main ones that stand out.

well on the computer we all love i guess my favs are:

1.Chaos engine
2.Sensible soccer
3.Speedball 2
4.IK+
5.Space Crusade
6.Formula One GrandPrix(Geoff Crammond) - this had a weird but fun 2 player option where it would switch between cars and drive you on auto untill your next few laps came up!!!

on other systems there are lots, but here's just a couple:

Atari800 - Wizard of War + Joust

Pc - Call to Power 2(like Civ)

Ultimate Doom for the PSX was excellent for it's time.

I remember my friend and I lugging his PSX and TV just over a mile to play it round my house.

We ended up playing it for about 8 hours, and the funny thing is I HATE DOOM!!!

Although I think Choas Engine 2-player has one major flaw. Whoever shoots the last node gets a big bonus in terms of percentage of the level they get credit for, which determines how the cash is divided. Anybody else have this problem?

KICK OFF 2 !

4 players on the amiga. I used to have so many fights / broken joysticks playing kick off 2 in 4 player mode.

We used to kick hell out of each other if the ref was weak (which would always wind my mates up), but when there was a strict ref like Steve Screech we used to dive over each others sliding tackles on a wet pitch and get each other sent off. What an amazing laugh it was.

We used to stop speaking to each other for days after playing this. Fantastic fun.

I also liked ik+, beach volley, dogs of war & midnight resistance in 2 player mode - but they were all a bit easy to complete.
