Golem FastSCSI/IDE manual

Does anyone know?, where i could find pdf manual or some info about set up this card switches and maybe some jumpers. I only found these http://www.bboah.com/index.php?actio...550&artlang=en and http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/golemfastscsi , but there are not much info. Or tell how to put master or slave settings. By the way my card, missing that big switch on the end of card.

you want connect one or two IDE drives with that card?
you just set jumpers on the harddrives/cdrom not on the controller card.
look on the cable connector of your hdd/cdrom drive, you find some tiny jumpers next to it. there you set master/slave.
sometimes some stickers are on the device, where you find the jumpersettings.

Only one IDE HDD. I already have set jumper to master in hdd, but i want to know which ones of those white dip switches should be on or off in the board. I know now there are pins on board for additional power led and hdd on/off switch, but what for are pins(down from dip switches)? http://amiga.resource.cx/photos/golemfastscsi,1 I have tried few times change switch positions and every time i get only white screen when starting amiga, so its not booting from HDD that has WB2.1? HDD is in FFS format and kickstart is 2.05 rev 37.175 if those somehow matters? According these sites http://www.bboah.com/index.php?actio...550&artlang=en and http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/golemfastscsi ,this card support autoboot. So i don't need boot disk?

Does it boot with no HDD connected?

Where did you make this? On a 2.05 system or on a higher level? Which identifier has the partition? Is the filesystem's code stored on the disk's RDB with this identifier?

No, same white screen appears.

I format it in my 3.9 OS in WinUae 2.5.1 and i have already make it to RDB 2 years ago. I have tested it with closest settings possible to match real hardware in WinUae and it boot fine. (A2000 rev6.0 with kick 2.05 rev 37.175+4mb fast memory board) I also tried take off that memory board, but it makes no difference.

they made the Golem SCSI II (A2000).
on the pcb you can see a jumper which is marked with LED. i guess this is the same with your board. but zero information about the dip-switches on the webs.
maybe a driver disk with a readme inside exists?

Yes definitely they are for led, but can't figure what is purpose of those pins (down from dip switches) http://amiga.resource.cx/photos/golemfastscsi,1 I tried put jumper, but no difference again...not booting. By the way if i waited some 1-2 min white screen turns to this http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...oot_screen.png

You mean hdd jumper settings? Yes i have tried master/slave and cable select, but no difference. Also i have switched zorro slot and ide cable.
If i only know correct dip switch settings
I already have tried about 10/32 dip switch settings, but allways...white screen. Problem maybe is in controller itself, maybe i should check all boards soldering with multimeter.

You really haven't answered thomas' questions. Also what is size of drive and partition(s)?

If you can mount it in WinUAE, use latest 2.6 beta, enable logging (paths or misc panel), boot normally, quit, attach winuaelog.txt. Log will include all important partitioning information.

One 163 mb partition. I found problem (should have figured this in first place) some components needs to be re-soldering.
