I am not sure EAB is the best place to ask this.

French-speaking people who post on an English-speaking board probably all have a decent command of English and therefore are not likely to be very interested in translations.

You should ask on some French speaking forums instead.

In French:
Tu ne cibles pas correctement ton coeur de marché puisque les gens ici parlent généralement assez bien anglais (nécessairement) et tu aurais sûrement un plus gros potentiel de personnes intéressées sur un forum où l'on communique en français.

I'd like to see some reverse transaltions, from French only, for games like Black Sect.

i have tried to check the Explora III files, they seems all powerpacked, but extracting them, no trace of text lines into;
maybe some complex system, or a slight different packer, dunno

You're welcome. Maybe someone with more knowledge will have a look at the feasibility for a translation and let us know if it's a hard task or not.
Let's cross the fingers

That is a very good question !

The answer is: "ALL of course" !!

Personally, Rocket Ranger (Cinemaware 1988) would be a good start for me. ;-)

Transworld aka Trans-World
http://hol.abime.net/1498

Pizza Connection
http://hol.abime.net/1077

Der Clou! (The Clue!)
http://hol.abime.net/3051

All three games were developed in Germany. As a side note, an attempt at an unofficial translation into English of C64 version of Transworld was made, check it here.

None.
English is much easier language to learn than french so I find no excuse for such translation, except the laziness of the player.
The other way around (or GER-> ENG) , I support it. That reminds me when I had played Traps'n'Treasures years ago using german floppies, and hand't been able to finish it. Only much later when I got ahold of English version, I finally finished it.

Very good advice. Also, some jokes and sentences don't translate very well into other languages.

I assume you are joking ? English is one of the hardest languages to learn. And has the largest vocab.
