Sony monitor, PVM 1342Q and my Amiga
I am using this monitor with my 2000 with no graphics card. I have it hooked up to the monochrome output of the Amiga, but I would love to get color.
I think I have two options, one is to output the Amiga's RGB to the RGB inputs on the back of the monitor, two is to take the digital outputs off of the same DB-23 connector, and feed it into the Digital input DB-9 connector on the monitor. Here is the info on the monitor if your interested: http://www.docs.sony.com/release/PVM1344Q.PDF It seems like all I need to do is to make an adapter for digital or analog coming from the Amiga, and output it to the Sony. Perhaps I could even have both coming out from the same adapter at the same time. Anyone have any suggestions? Gene |
