Monitor Question

I am getting ready to [finally] use my Amiga 2000. Right now, I have no graphics card, so I will have to use it with a Sony monitor with separate RGB inputs. I figure I might be able to make my own cable, by modifying an existing RGB cable.

I'm thinking that I will get the famous Amiga flicker this way, unless the monitors persistance is equal to the old Amiga monitors, however, I doubt that, which means of course, someday getting a graphics card.

I also have a LCD monitor with a DB15 connector, might that work better?

I guess I will look for schematics to figure out how to connect things.

The big question is whether or not the monitor supports 15khz screen modes.

Also, Amigakit sells (I think) an Amiga/VGA adapter, so you could use a standard VGA cable with the LCD.
(Note: this is just a cable adapter, it doesn't handle any flicker fixing/scan doubling. You'll still have the same issues with 15khz screens.)
