ADFview HD floppy

while suggesting adfview in another posting, i got some problem with a hd floppy image, created with adf view.
i made HD floppy, bootable and FFS using adfview. copying all files of urban masacre onto the floppy - within windows.
first time booting i got " no dos disk" , second try a got the cli prompt. starting the game with "um", it got stalled after some seconds - no error messages.

while testing the diskimage with disksalve4 i can see on device information:
"volume invalid" and "bitmap invalid" . repair does not help.

latest adfview and winuae (2013.01.26)

anyone seen this before?

Edit: added screenshot and empty hd image by adfview , game image, UM.adf, is in the zone.

If you start this game from WorkBench you should see error message. But maybe game will find required files on WorkBench disk.

argh. you are right. loaded workbench, starting game from cli, from floppy, requester comes up: "could not open stuff/titlemed" - file on disk is called "stuff/title.med" :/

Edit: drag and drop files onto the disk did not work, halve the files are missing *omg*

so it seems game related. but what about Volume and bitmap invalid? is this normal, or bad crafted floppy-iamge by adfview?

If you copied new files with ADF View you need to eject and re-insert disk in WinUAE or new files will not be visible.

yes, i did that. i was selecting/draging all files from the "um" folder of the lha archive and drop'ed them onto the adf, only 3 folder were written to the adf.
then i did it folder by folder. looking good, but again a subfolder "levels/street"
was missing.
i also replaced the "stuff/title.med" with a small .med from music archive. original title.med was too big.

the game only starts from loaded workbench. booting same floppy does not work. something is missing.

Edit: what about Volume and bitmap invalid? is this normal, or bad crafted floppy-iamge by adfview? look at 1st posting.
