Mystery jumper on A1200 video DAC
Hello, been getting aquainted with my shiny new, (yellow and geriatric), A1200. It has a few problems and I have questions as I try to get it back into top condition. May as well start with this -
Wire jumper added to the video DAC chip. Anyone know what it is for? It is a REV1A motherboard. I came across this post and wondered if it could be related. http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=112240&postcount=5 As you can see here this board has not had this fix done and I haven't noticed the screen flickering. - |
