Unofficial Saboteur III released (Atari STE)
Recently an unofficial new game in the Saboteur series (released notably on C64 and CPC):
http://www.mobygames.com/game/saboteur http://www.mobygames.com/game/saboteur-ii has been released for Atari STE. Here is the page where you can find a .msa disk image and the source code (if anyone ever think of porting it and/or improve it): http://saboteur3.blog4ever.com/blog/...s_sources.html Here is one of the in-game videos if you want to check how it looks: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xps...iii_videogames Here is the manual (in French but I guess you can copy and paste in a translation program): http://saboteur3.blog4ever.com/blog/...le_manuel.html I tried it a bit yesterday. I found the music quite annoying (even by ST standards ). Gameplay seemed decent, although it seemed linear at first (after a few screens you start to get different paths). The flying kick seems to be far more useful that the other combat moves... I'll give it another try I guess but well right now can't really recommend it. At least fans of the first two games can give it a try. |

I don't like it. It looks worse than ZX Spectrum Saboteur I. In other words - it is typical Atari

It worked fine for me in Steem. I used the 1.06 TOS (UK).

Uff, while I loved the first two games on Spectrum this just doesn't feel right at all A shame... was looking forward to huge sprites and great playability.

On first glance it looks like the main character sprite is from Ninja Gaiden.
