A good place to find old expansions is Amibay.com
Also, here is a newly made expansion (RAM+IDE controller, there is also a RAM board only) they are both neat expansions. The pictures shows two CF cards functioning as harddisks. Last edited by Photon; 04 October 2011 at 10:48. |

I've just got a i68k from Mika, and would thoroughly recommend it...

Seblington: It was too much work to press Ctrl+F and type the word Autoboot?
While it's a small board that will fit into most anything, it's very far from an easy installation, judging from the pictures and the Amiga-model table. Not for me, but I'm just saying it might not be a direct replacement for a side expansion for many. |

Good point Photon.
Installation involves: - removing 68000 and plugging the chip into the adapter board, then the board into the CPU socket - connecting 2 wires. This can be done by soldering to the expansion socket, or poking into the right place on a CIA chip and GARY chip... So yes, it's not plug and play, but it's not rocket science. It'll autoboot from Kickstart 2.05 or higher, or will autoboot from a custom modified kickstart 1.3 that has had scsi.device patched and added. |

LOL not at all, but just intereted to know, I have seen however on the big book of amiga hardware that there is a complete plug and play board which offers a mem expansion and HDD connector. |

I have BSC Alfa Data 500 with 300MB HDD (must check exact size) + 8MB FAST RAM.
And also GVP A530 accelerator, but this will be more expensive. |
