Ace

The Atari ST community are starting their own equivalent of AMR and someone has kindly uploaded scans of every issue of ACE magazine in PDF format here.

ftp://ftp.stmags.com/ACE%20100%25%20...055%20Issues)/

Thought we could get them for AMR.

I know that HOL and AMR like to keep their data private but perhaps we could offer the ST/Amiga format scans to STMags?

Or not?

I think I have all the ACE magazine scans on DVD from Mort at home, but haven't put them all online yet. I don't think they're as much use without complete indexes and a lot of previews and cheats have not been indexed yet. We need more drones to assist in indexing!

I would be quite keen to get some Atari ST magazines indexed because often it's useful to know when the ST review of a game came out or to check for credits etc. But that's another mammoth job and we really need some Atari ST fanatics to assist!

If you check out the thread over at ATARI-FORUM then I am 99% sure you'll be able to get people involved if you don't mind sharing the contributed index data with ST sites?

Let us know how you want the data (CSV files?) and the community will set to it.

ACE was by far the best publication during that time I have so many issues of it stored away.
