help me set up my scandoubler/flicker fixer
Hi all,
I have been trying to set up my dce scandoubler on a 15" samsung lcd monitor. I have been through the various screenmodes with varying degrees of success. I really need some advice on where too start too get the best picture quality /screenmode specs are: a1200 030,wb3.0 ,classic wb adv thanks |

PAL or NTSC Hires Interlace is usually the only mode a scandoubler can handle.

The DCE is normally pretty lame on an LCD (you'll get horizontal lines) You can try adjusting the clock settings or if you monitor has an auto setup feature you can try that.
For LCD's the Indivision is the better option, I'd suggest an old Skool CRT for your setup if you can live with the big boxiness! ![]() Also this DCE is 16bit output so 24bit outputs will loose some colour, you'll actually get a better picture on LCD TV with RGB-Scart (as long as your set supports interlaced modes) Steve. |
