Would seem unlikely, when no 3d support for bvisions

I thought Warp3D was supported in OS4?

GL Quake runs on my BPPC/Voodoo 5 setup under OS4, at least I'm pretty sure it does!!!

It runs smooth, in my opinion.

Voodoo 3/4/5 are supported with Warp3D. But the desktop hardware compositing/transparency only works on Radeon. Actually it works on Voodoo but it's too slow to be useful.

For Permedia2 (bvision/cvision ppc) ...stay tuned

I'll see about getting a video up.

Hey DarrenHD, I enjoyed the video

Does indeed look good, imagine that would be pretty tastey on a 330mhz setup

The Web Browser, is that included with the OS? Looks much better than what we're used to on a Classic Miggy

Would you suggest a Radeon GFX Card over a Voodoo though? I've got a Voodoo 5 at the moment but I only have the Mediator 1200SX.

Steve.

Web browser = OWB - but theyve been arguing on other forums that Ibrowse is still the best under OS4.x

Yes that is OWB web browser version 3.30 which is included as an optional program to install via the new Extras Installer.

I would definately recommend a Radeon card. I'm not sure if the Mediator 1200SX will support a 3.3V or a 5V Radeon...but you can check with Elbox and it's best to buy one directly from them to ensure it will work with your Mediator.

The Radeon gives you upto 256MB of video ram and support for the desktop compositing (transparency, etc) which looks very nice, not to mention good Warp3D support.

You can do the same with your Voodoo, but the desktop compositing will be too slow (although Warp3D would be fine).

You could try it first with your Voodoo and if you want upgrade to a Radeon later.

It is quite snappy for a PPC Classic. OS 4.1 will be a major upgrade from 4.0 for Classic Amigas, having the appropriate RTG video card.

@Darren,

The Gears demo in the video looks corrupted (Gear teeth look odd). Is that evident in other Warp3D appliactions?
