ADF file browser updated with frequency.
Somebody knows of ADF file browsers with GUI, updated with frequency, in the Internet? How would be useful a shell extension for IE8 to read adf files and hard-disks!
![]() Thanks! ![]() |

There is a shell extension for Windows Explorer, IIRC, which can browse ADF files on your hard drive, but I can't remember its name. ADFView maybe?
Edit: Yes, here it is: http://www.viksoe.dk/code/adfview.htm Last edited by prowler; 15 October 2010 at 22:10. |

Hi,
I have recently written an ADF browser in Scala (a Java based language), which allows me to view files in ADF images and transfer files to and from them (it can also display icons). I described it here in my blog: http://blog.boxofrats.com/2011/03/07...ystem-browser/ It currently does not support hard disk files, mainly because I only needed to access DD disk files but could be extended, and it works as a standalone application, because I work on all kinds of systems except Windows ![]() I wrote that tool because I had a need for it myself, but if there is any interest, I made it available in a preview version on https://github.com/weiju/adf-tools Best, Wei-ju |

Get Total Commander, www.ghisler.com, and then get the extensions to view .adf, .hdf, .zip., .lha .rar, .iso, younameit. There's extensions for viewing C64-disks and loads of stuff.
You get aNortonCommander-style-ish thing with Redmond gui, and there's pretty much nothing you can't do with it that Redmond Explorer can do instead. rather the opposite. Total commander also allows you to batch rename files and whatnot. Best tool you can get for money (or cracked :P) for 99% of you emulating needs. I think the only extension I've not seen yet is for Classic Mac and HFS/+ based disk and hdf files |
