bad trainers
I will list here some trainers, which does not work or have faults.
Would be nice, if someone can confirm this, maybe you can also try on real machine. P47 Thunderbolt (1990)(Firebird)[cr MAD][t +2 ACU] Infinity lives does not work correctly, after loosing some lives you get a message "Mystro 90" followed by a Game over screen. |

Got the same message, but I think it's related to picking up a '1-up'. Died a lot before and after I got the 1-up, I died four times (3 + 1) and it was over. So yeah, it's a bad (stupid

Ah, okay. It even crashes when you let it run afterwards.

I remember some infinite loop in Gods when you finish first world. Also you can not see end screen in Turrican if you have infinite diamonds turned on (it's also infinite loop).

If you were to be really picky you could find a fault with almost every trainer.
This is pretty pointless thread, IMHO. |

I'm talking minor faults, and of course referring back to when people didn't have the time to play through the whole game.
Endless loop of bonus points at end of level caused by infinite time.. etc. Many trainers make finishing the game impossible. |

The average Amiga game takes 1 to 2 hours to finish when a trainer is used (some even less). The majority of trainers I used worked. Pointing out which trainers don't allow the game to be completed isn't pointless, IMHO.

This is still complete and utter nonsense! SOME trainers do not work correctly, just like SOME cracks don't work correctly. Most of them are fine!

The Bob Duncan trainer for Navy Seals, if you used unlimited time the game just went into a loop for the time bonus upon completeting the level.

StingRay: Most was perhaps the wrong word to use.. Many trainers do have problems.
The trainers done by the groups in the 80's were often quite shoddy to say the least. The quality improved quite a lot in later years in my opinion. TCD: Sure its pointless. Everyone uses WHDLoad. |

I remember that if you enable all items in Shadow of the Beast 3 sometimes you can not finish some levels.

Maybe it's an idea to shut it if you don't have anything to contribute next time

Apparently, it kills the character by eating his life away and therefore, with infinite energy, you would endlessly be suck from your life. The only way to get out of this I could find was to press Esc and therefore go back the game starting screen... |

Yes, I had this version on my Amiga long ago. For me best way to avoid it was pressing escape before alien catches you. After that alien is dead and you lose one life but you will not stuck in wall forever.

There was a trainer for Woodys World, pretty sure it was by The Black Cat (surprise surprise!), and the trainer code gets overwritten by the game and it later crashes.
