Colour issue

I seem to have an issue with certian games with graphics the two notable ones are Oscar and Bubble & Squeak. See the screen shots below for the problem.

(Note the Gems on Bubble & Squeak.)

Hmm, don't see any colour issue there. You're just using the OCS/ECS versions of those games, that's why they look less colourful than you probably remember

I think you are using the AGA version of Bubble and Squeak - if you take a look at the HOL screenshots the ECS version doesn't have those backdrops.

However comparing your screenshot to those in HOL (and having played the game myself quite a lot in the past) I don't notice any difference myself.

As for Oscar you are indeed using the ECS version - compare the ECS title screen to the AGA one - that explains that one.

You're right about Bubble and Squeak Graham, just saw the Oscar one and thought he might have played both on an A1200 before. Now I wonder what exactly the problem with the gems should be

Ah right didn't know there were two versions out. That solves Oscar then thanks.

Regarding the gems on on Bubble & Squeak I don't remember the gems looking so purple when I played it on the Amiga.

Bubble and Squeak :
ECS/OCS
AGA
Also two versions. Maybe it just has been a bit too long since you last played it?
