- Unpack the LHA from Aminet with WinZIP on PC
- Download the tool ADFOpus for Windows
- Create a blank adf with WinUAE
- Format the adf
- Copy the unpacked files from the archiv to the adf with adfopus

creating a virtual harddisk really helps for this kind of stuff, because you can just drag the extracted folder into your harddisk folder, load WinUAE (with HD) and then just drag the files onto a blank ADF

One problem is probably that you can get the contents of an lha file to an adf, but that does not a bootable adf make. Even if you install the disk, it will need an s dir and a startup-sequence, and possibly libs, l, devs, c, etc. The bottom line is that there is just no turnkey way to give instructions for making bootable Amiga disks. Either you know AmigaDOS or you don't. Even when you know it, you still have troubleshooting to do in order to make sure the disk is right. So if you are a total newbie to AmigaDOS, I wouldn't even venture into this area at all. Either install (and learn) the OS, then run said programs from this HD setup, or maybe request an adf version of what you're looking for.

I know just yesterday I was looking for a PD game, finally found it (on Aminet), downloaded it, read the instructions (which indicated I had to issue a script to install to disk), etc. A bit of work. But I did a search and found the disk/adf version had already been created and was available for download from AmiSectorOne!

yeah Twistin is right, you'll need to make the disk bootable.... once you have done this (before you copy other files to it), copy it, so next time you'll save some hassle.

you'll need...

C/LoadWB
S/Start-up Sequence

edit Start-up sequence is a txt editor to say LoadWB

as i remember it anyway!!
