Amplifier internet radio streaming
Hi.
I can receive and listen internet radio streams using Amigaamp, but not with Amplifier. Neither using the hardware option which is ahi.device (amithlon) neither using the software option which should be mpega.libary which version 2.4 is in my libs: This is not to specific streams, but with any stream. I'm using AMPlifier 2.35. It can play any stream I throw at it *provided* they are 128kbps or below. It chokes on 192kbps streams and above. This isn't an issue with AMPlifier but rather, with one's own system. I emulate an A4000, 68040-NOMMU in FS-UAE running OS3.9. I can stream in AmigaAMP as well with the same limitation. However, I prefer AMPlifier's software decoding over AmigaAMPs for the reason that it simply performs better. I can play in full stereo with visual effects and I experience no latency or lag and can switch back and forth between streams saved in a playlist to my mp3 playlist.
