Super Skidmark's Bonus content for Mag readers
hi
i didnt found this in TOSEC (planetemu), after reading the manual it states that there going to be an add-on disc which is on a coverdisk of their own magazine Skidmarks Racer... a few features and a way of installing the original trackdiscs to HD RARE Commercial Release, i thank you |

I would imagine that the content would have been included in Ultimate Super Skidmarks:
http://hol.abime.net/2124 It certainly features a way of installing the trackdisks because I've done it myself. I would assume it contains all of the updates too. |

I'm sure that skid racer magazine was only a one off issue - the skid racer disk was just an updated program disk that included the track disk install option - there may have been some competition details and some track backgrounds on the disk as well (I could be wrong) but that was about it as far as I can recall - I'm sure I got it in the post so I must have registered.
The updated program disk with the track disk install option was included in many later versions of Super Skidmarks |

KG - do you have an ADF of the Super Skidmarks Program Disk V2.21?
Or does anyone have a copy? - I cant seem to find this version of the Program disk (The V2.21 lets you install the track disks) - KG, I know your V2.21 packs are available but I am trying to do an install myself on a low end Amiga and the latest Program disk would be very useful... KG or Anyone? EDIT - I think I may have found the disk I need... Last edited by Peter; 16 June 2010 at 22:58. |

IIRC I didn't use any floppy disks to get the 2.21, I just took it from the CD.

I see KG...
I've been messing around with my A600 getting Super Skidmarks loaded and running... I have 2MB Chip and 2MB fast on my A600 but the game wont allow the use of the Caravan at all - it just keeps requesting car disk 3 and then pops up a message which is too quick to read - all the cars that can be installed on an A600 including the Caravan are installed though... bit funny as I can have four different cars running without Caravans... If I choose Caravans I am limited to a two car race I accept that but as soon as I move past the track selection the request for car disk 3 appears and then the message... I cant even run one car with a Caravan - you would have thought that one or two cars could tow Caravans with the memory I have... maybe not - I can try my A500 perhaps as that has more memory... Did you ever create a Super Skidmarks Pack that was A500/A600 friendly KG? I notice that there is an original Skidmarks non AGA WHDload install available. The reason behind all this messing about is because I want to eventually link an A500 and an A600 for a link up race. A608 to the rescue maybe? |
