Space Panic

Hello,

I'm looking for an untempered version of the game Space Panic (1989). Zeg helped me locate a version cracked by WOW. However, credit were overwritten in there and I'm looking for the soundtracker music author.
Note that this game is not on HOL, if anyone cares.

Thanks in advance
Sylvain

There is this one in Tosec set Space Panic (19xx)(Wittwer, T.)[f]

I'll stick it in the zone shortly.

ok, thanks. That's this game all right. Though, not the original. This version is full DOS, while the original is mostly trackloaded.
Still, I can see there's no credit to the music composer. Said music disappeared in this version since there's no more intro ... . And they call that "fix" .

Anyway, thanks again !

No problems - it was worth a try.

I have a disk of Space Patrol with a different checksum than the one on TOSEC.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to start it on emulator so I cannot confirm if it's the cracked version by WOW or not. I'm not sure if my setup or the image is the problem.

I've uploaded it in the zone in case it could help you.

It works on the emulator with the attached config.

Just do not hit the Warp button to speed up winuae, there are different kind of problems appearing if the timing is not right while loading of this game ...

Thanks, I was able to boot with that config.

This is the title screen, is it the WOW crack? I don't see any mention of soundtracker author.

Forgive my intrusion, but does anyone know what's going on here?

I couldn't get either of the ADF versions to run in Amiberry, they just hang on a blank screen. I did however find a WHDLoad version on the FTP, which loads and runs but crops off a chunk of the right-hand edge of the screen. I've jiggled every Display setting I can find without success.

(The ADF of the demo runs fine, with the full screen width.)

What might be doing that?

(I see the screenshot on Launchbox looks the same, so it's not just me.)

Have you tried turning off horizontal centering?

Yes. It shunts the display left a bit but still with the same amount of edge missing.

I copied all the graphics settings from the demo, but it still crops the edges when the demo doesn't.

The adf version does the same. Maybe it's caused by the kick-start fix.

Oh, what did you change? Might work for the full version from the FTP too.

(Although on your WHDLoad version the right part is clipped off for me, although it shows properly on the ADF version of the demo.)
